Dev container

Open the working directory in a published image through podman or docker.

ahi dev opens the working directory at /work inside the development image from iancleary/ahi-images. It needs podman or docker on PATH.

ahi dev                      # pull when missing, then a shell
ahi dev run -- cargo test    # run one command and exit with its code
ahi dev shell                # a shell in an image already present
ahi dev status               # runtime, image, mount, local image id
ahi dev clean                # remove the local image

ahi.dev.yaml chooses the image. ahi sandbox check reports the containment the host offers and whether an outer sandbox such as OpenShell is active.

Running ahi tui inside ahi dev run puts approved commands behind the container boundary, which the tool policy alone does not provide.
