Pick a model, stream replies, and read a formatted transcript.

ahi tui opens a model picker. Curated OpenAI models sign in through the browser; any OpenAI-compatible or Anthropic Messages gateway can be registered in models.json. Startup makes no network requests.

The transcript

Replies render as markdown: headings, lists, tables, inline and fenced code with syntax highlighting for eleven languages, and block quotes. Edits made by the model show as red and green diffs with the changed words emphasised. Every tool call shows what the model asked for, what came back, and how long it took, and a finished turn ends with its duration and completion time.

URLs and file references are underlined. A click, or Enter in keyboard selection, opens a URL in the platform opener or a file in the configured editor. /editor code sets the editor; code, cursor, zed, subl, idea, and others are recognised by name.

Copying

/copy copies the selection as rendered text; /copy raw copies the original markdown. In keyboard selection y and Y do the same. A click on a code block copies it.
